Question: Is it ok to buy video games? i mean people really that crazy to buy $60 video games?

Of course it's ok. Why would you think it is crazy? Do you realize how much work goes into making these games? Many, if not most of these games take far longer to produce than a hit Hollywood movie. And it is not like you just sit down for 2 hours and watch it once. Many of these games provide weeks, or even months of entertainment (some really good classics could even be staples in your collection for years). So it is not crazy at all. Why would people spend 50$ a month on cable, or 300$ for a TV? Why go to the mall and buy 60$ worth of clothes when all we really need is a pair of jeans and a T-shirt? Variety is the spice of life. If there isn't variety in life, then what is money worth anyway?

LOL I just imported Final Fantasy XIII LCE from UK for 65 Global British Pounds ($98 usd) here to America. ^)^ If you enjoy a pass time there is nothing wrong with spending money on it. Especially if $60-$100 isn't a lot of money to you at all. (bought the FFXIII CE Guide to go with it for $20 USD). Just this last week I spent $180 on Little Big planet Addons. As well when June comes around I plan on buying a New 3d television and some 3d PlayStation 3 games. (which will cost $2000+ )

Are you asking if games are worth $60? Supply and demand. Some games are definitely worth the full price. Others don't sell as well (because they aren't good), and the price drops accordingly.

60's not that much with a decent job, plus in japan most new games cost roughly 100 dollars if you convert the rate. And there are plenty of games that are not 60 even when they are brand new. Still yeah I have no issues dropping 60 on a game.

Sure, if you got the money, then go ahead and buy it. It's a free country. Spending 60 bucks on a video game is not that crazy. There are a lot more crazy spending habits out there: over 100,000 dollars on a car. What's the point when you can't even drive that fast in the US.

It depends on what kind of a person you are.If you're hyper active then you'd do anything crazy like buying a 60$ game which many are like that even me.It also depends on how your parents feel about once you get hooked to it.And it also affects your eyes.I don't like saying this but this is what you asked.

Gameing is my hobby and something I always loved I never regret spending money on games it well wroth it. I rather spend my 60 dollars on video games then on over priced clothing and other nonsense.
