How can I make playing video games my profession?
Right now I am 18 I work as a mechanic and I go to school for electronics... I love playing video games and I always have but lately I haven't got anytime to play because I also just had a baby. I want to know how I can become a video game tester as a job. I can write pretty well and I'm fairly good at gaming? If anyone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated Thank you What about a reviewer for games is more of what I'd rather do.
Any legit sites to sell video games besides gamestop?
Im trying to sell a bunch of ps3 games I don't want anymore and would like to sell them online, i don't like gamestop or Ebgames I think they're cheap so anyone use a site or something that worked out fine?BTW I put my games on Craigslist but still I find Sellvideogames.com to be a good way to sell them
Are video games dying?
It seems like some people always bash games, like congressmen. What do you think?
Anyone know of any good video games?
I'm looking for a really good video game here for the PS2 or XBOX 360. I've played all my other video games a thousand million billion times over I'm even working on my third runthrough of the one I got just over a week ago. I'm getting bored with the same old stuff over and over again. So, here's what I'm looking for. I want a really good game with a great storyline, pretty good music or ambient sounds , good gameplay, and smooth controls good graphics would also be nice, but that isn't a must. And I'd prefer it if the game wasn't rated any higher than teen please, no scary games . I'd like the game to be fighting oriented and it'd be great if the game allowed you to customize your character a bit, such as being able to change clothes or armor or something. Please don't skip answering this question if you don't know of a game that exactly fits this description if the storyline isn't so great or if the gameplay is a bit repetitive, that's okay. One thing though I really want the game to be fairly long. Has anyone ever played Spyro A Hero's Tail? If you have, then about that long. If you haven't, let's say... 15 hours of straight gameplay, at the least. If you know of a good game that doesn't fit this description at all, but is still really cool, please mention that too. Thanks By the way, " scary game" doesn't mean " game that hides enemies around a corner to startle you." It means something more like " game with zombies and monsters and guys with chainsaws." Or " game that will give you nightmares." Dark storylines are always appreciated. Like, The Force Unleashed type dark. Or even darker. You know what I mean. I think. I hope.
What was this video game called?
When I was little I tried playing one of the video games in Best Buy...I've been wanting to find it for the longest time, but it's such a vague memory. Perhaps someone here is familiar with it?...The main character was shorter than the 'normal' people in the virtual town, & I don't think it was human. The face looked funny, like an " O" which was covered partly by a brown, draping hood sort of like Link's from Zelda . I think the character also had a shell, because this fluffy, white ish dog would run up, & start to take away points from the character. When I pressed a certain button, it would curl up, & shield itself. The little town looked old fashioned, & it's cobble road was like a reddish color.I eventually found my way to an area with lots of water , with thin, grey 'stone like' walkways above it. I think it was a swamp. It was quite a few years back maybe 8 years ago . I remember Playstation 1 being a big deal...maybe around then. If you have any guesses, I'd be glad to hear them. Thanks.
WET video game for Xbox 360?
So I am a BIG Tomb Raider fan, and i heard that the new video game WET was a good substitute for Tomb Raider. It had a lot of similarities and blah blah blah. Anyways, does anyone have any opinions on this game? Ratings? Or maybe even some other recomendations for video games on Xbox 360? Thanks.
How do I sit down, focus, and finish a video game?
I love video games but I can never finish them o.x Like I am SO CLOSE to Finishing Metroid Prime 2, Super Paper Mario, Twilight Princess, Phantom Hourglass, so many others but I get stuck and try another game and then get stuck and try another. How do you gamer addicts finish games? Thinking about opening an rpg hobby/video game store?
So there is this cool little building in my town with a nice layout, two floors, no outstanding structural amenity flaws, and a low priced lease. I was thinking about opening up my own Gaming Hobby Shop for people in my area, as our only options are either Wal Mart, a Barnes and Noble, and a ugh Game stop. Downstairs will have the cash register, restrooms, vending machines storage office, all that crap and will be the shop floor.I plan to stock Current Video Games Consoles AccessoriesVintage Video Games Consoles AccessoriesTraditional RPG stuff books, dice, miniatures, paper, etc < Huge selection hereWargames stuff books, dice, armies, environments, templates, etc Board GamesTrading Card GamesCandy Junk Pens, Skittles, Chips, Local Goodies... Upstairs I want to have a gaming club sort of thing with free LAN and plenty of tables so people can play their RPGs and Wargames. Perhaps I can have a couple video game setups where people can bring their consoles and play games and such.I would like to hear what suggestions and ideas Yahoo may have about the store and how I should run things. I asked this in Gaming and Local Business Categories.Since my store will be mostly a local operation, I plan to really piss off Gamestop when it comes to their bullshit about Game Trades and Sales in General.First, I will sell games at a slightly cheaper price since I am not retail.Second, here is my trade in chart as of now New Game 35$Newish Game 15 20$Vintage Game 10$ ???Game bought from my store, with receipt and returned within two weeks Full Monetary Return or New GameSure as h3ll beats GameStop and their 15$ crap doesn't it?
