Question: When will the price for nintendo wii be dropped?

I heard a few weeks back that Nintendo plans to lower its Wii console sometime this summer. Does anyone know when? If u don't know why would you even bother to answer? R U that much of a loser?

They have already announced like a couple months ago that for the remaining of this year they will be no price drop in either ds or wii but that they are going to increase shipments on the wii

Probably a couple months after it stops being so in demand...which could take a while.

Nintendo has not announced any price drop. There were rumours flying round that a price drop would happen in May... it didn't happen. Nintendo dismissed any news of a drop as "rumor and speculation ". So I guess the answer is... who knows. The Wii is already hugely popular at its current price point, and I guess Nintendo are waiting for sales to start to dip before they make any official pronouncement on this subject.

Not for a while. maybe when our dollar is a bit stronger and when they are not in as much demand. but just after big games like mario kart and brawl they will sell out like crazy.

The Wii is still selling faster than they can make them at the current price. Nintendo dropping the price would be a stupid business move. It would just cause them to make less money. When sales start to significantly dip they will drop the price.
